Mike Merg Illustration & Design is the creative studio of Chicago-based artist, Michael Mergenthaler. Founded in the winter of 2010, we have a great deal of experience, and offer a wide variety of creative services including illustration, advertising, logo design, package design, screen-printing and much more. Our work, which is largely illustration based, often draws inspiration from vintage advertisements and pop-culture of the 1980s & 1990s.
Over the years we’ve done work for a variety of clients on projects big and small — From marketing campaigns for companies as large as Nike, Coke and Wells Fargo, to branding projects for one-person-start-ups and everywhere in between. We’ve illustrated gig-posters for artists like Snoop Dogg, JD McPherson, Murder By Death and RaRa Riot — and currently do work for a number of different clients in various industries.
